Tom Cruise has hinted he has started filming the hotly anticipated air force action sequel 'Top Gun: Maverick'.
Top Gun: Maverick (2019) is the upcoming sequel to the famous movie Top Gun (1986), and it will premiere on July 12, 2019.
Joseph Kosinski is still rumored as a director, and writing team consists of Peter Craig, Justin Marks and Eric Warren Singer.
Tom Cruise is the only actor listed, and we have no clue whether other original cast members will be joining him.
July 12, 2019 sounds too close because shooting didn't even started yet! But, we get a first promo picture.
You can see Cruise in flying gear, holding a helmet with Maverick written on it, looking at F/A-18 Hornet, with the words Feel The Need superimposed over the pic.
This surely means that they are serious about filming Top Gun: Maverick (2019) in the recent future.
