Dennis Quaid was left devastated by the death of his The Parent Trap co-star Natasha Richardson.
Richardson passed away in 2009 following a skiing accident and Quaid admits he took her death hard because she was a pleasure to work with and they developed a friendship.
She was such a beautiful person, such a beautiful, beautiful person, he tells Us Weekly magazine. Just none of that, that actor stuff, prima donna stuff. (She was) someone (who was) easy to work with and (she had) such a great sense of humour.
When that accident happened, it just devastated me and so many other people, he adds. She had such a beautiful love, married life with Liam (Neeson), and two beautiful boys. She always had a smile on her face when she came to work. That really affected everyone around her.
Quaid and Richardson’s 1998 film, a remake of the 1961 original, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, and the actor still has a hard time believing it’s been two decades since the movie came out.
