British pop star Robbie Williams escaped a terrifying blaze at a London hotel recently. The former Take That star was among guests at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel forced to evacuate when the fire broke out.
Williams said: I went to the balcony and looked up and there was just billows and billows of smoke.
Next thing he remembers there is a knock on the door, and bellboy telling him that he must leave the hotel room.
More than 100 firefighters and 20 fire trucks were at the scene of this terrible fire, but, luckily, nobody got seriously hurt.
We hope that the Mandarin Hotel has a good insurance, because it was just refurbished by designer Joyce Wang.
The report says that nearly 300 guest had to leave the hotel, and wait outside until the fire was extinguished.
