Chris Hemsworth is reportedly reuniting with his Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo for a new kidnap drama.
The Russo Brothers' independent production house AGBO will collaborate with Newflix, and make Dhaka - a movie about kidnapped Indian boy held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. One man (Hemsworth) must save the boy.
Joe Russo will write the script, and the director of the movie will be Sam Hargrave, a stunt coordinator that has worked on several films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This will be Hargrave's big screen directorial debut, although he already has directed 4 short movies.
The Russo Brothers also got rights for recently published Nico Walker's autobiography Cherry. It is a novel about an American army medic who is traumatized by the gory reality of war and after returning home, gets hooked to heroin and becomes a bank robber.
Cherry (2019) is to be directed by Morten Tyldum and scripted by Jessica Goldberg.
