His movie premiered last night and we could talk to him about how feels on opening the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)
Chris Pine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Florence Pugh star in this biography drama about the 14th century Scottish Outlaw King Robert The Bruce, who used cunning and bravery to defeat and repel the much larger and better equipped occupying English army.
Pine plays the title role, and the movie was directed and co-written by Scottish filmmaker David Mackenzie.
He was at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, attending the premiere of the Outlaw King (2018). His movie also opened the whole festival!
The worldwide theatrical release is set for November 9, but you can find out more about the film, if you click on the video above!
And if you don't know, David Mackenzie is the director behind movies such as Hallam Foe (2007), Perfect Sense (2011), Starred Up (2013), and Hell or High Water (2016).
