The big screen directorial debut for Joe Penna is called Arctic (2018) and the movie tells the story of a man stranded in the Arctic, who is finally about to receive his long awaited rescue. However, after a tragic accident, his opportunity is lost. He must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown for potential salvation.
The movie was written by Joe Penna and Ryan Morrison, and it features only two actors - Mads Mikkelsen and Maria Thelma Smaradottir.
