Nicolas Cage is one of the most diverse actors of our time, and his films range from really fantastic to complete garbage. It's not his movie career we'll be looking at today, however, but rather his spending habits… and they're pretty extreme to say the least.
Nicolas Cage - a man so talented that he has won an Oscar; a man so handsome that he married three beautiful women - Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley and Alice Kim Cage; a man so relevant that he became a meme - couple of times!
Cage was born on January 7, 1964, in Long Beach, California, as Nicholas Kim Coppola - which made him almost famous by birth.
After a couple of small roles in his late-teens, Cage changed his name so he wouldn't be recognized as one more Coppola offspring.
Valley Girl (1983) was his first major role, and his first appearance as Nicolas Cage. He became a force to be reckoned with in numerous roles in 1980s: The Cotton Club (1984), Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Raising Arizona (1987)...
David Lynch's Wilde at Heart (1990) made him a superstar. Five years later, he has won the Academy Award for Best Leading Role in Leaving Las Vegas (1995). He was nominated for another Oscar for Adaptation. (2002).
